City Council Woes | Dinner Plus Drinks #62

Hey everybody, we had a pretty down week caused by decisions that were made by the Lake Geneva City Council in regards to planned pop up dinners we were going to hold in downtown Lake Geneva. We took some time to express our feelings about that decision in this podcast and moved on to more positive things like some really delicious food talk and funny kid stories. It was a much needed bit of therapy - thanks for your support!

Here's a rundown of things we talked about this week:

• Bridget loved this interview between James Corden and Prince Harry. You can watch it on YouTube.
• We enjoyed a bottle of Gramona "La Cuvee" Cava, a delicious Spanish sparkling wine that's great for celebrations and commiserations!
• Milwaukee is now involved in the Floral Heart Project, a public art project to bring beauty and remembrance to the COVID-19 pandemic. 
• Nick is astounded by the idea of "wet water" which is used by firefighters to help put out fires faster. It's crazy. Check it out for yourself!
• Bridget found these awesome Stacking Rocks as a way of keeping the kids entertained while developing motor skills.
• Sonic the Hedgehog Coloring Books are awesome! Get one for your kid or buy more for Elliot! He won't say no to more coloring books.
• Bridget is excited for the Pork Chop and Waffle Sandwiches on this week's meal plan.
• While Nick is feeling some Slow Cooker Short Rib Barbacoa Tacos. They're incredibly yummy.
